Operating
concessions at various events is a main stay of our fundrasing
efforts. On 31 August, we will support the last of three concerts
in Chesapeake's Concerts Under the Stars series. Not only do we
make money for our charities, but we have the best seat in the house
for
the fireworks. Sign
up on-line for your shifts.

Leadership
We
have sponsored the Key Club at Hickory High School for several years.
In May, we chartered the Key Club at the new Grassfield High School
with 80 members. Hickory Past President Crist Cuffee and New
President Angela Corpuz joined us for breakfast on 7/15. Crist,
who will attend Virginia Tech this fall, came to thank the club for the
scholarship we presented him

Fellowship
Our annual pool
party at the Parrish on 29 July was well attneded by members who
brought fabulous food. We ate well, enjoyed good conversation and
some of us even went swimming. Our next fellowship event will be
a fifth Tuesday when we hold our Officer Installation Banquet on 30
September at the Caddy Shack.
