Holiday Service
After a short meeting on 6 Dec, our members scattered. Some went to Tee Wen Nursery to pick up poinsettias, then on to our adopted school, Rena B Wright Primary. We gave each faculty and staff member a poinsettia in appreciation for the incredible job they do for their students. Other members went to the E R Jones HeadStart classroom for our quarterly Reading is Fundamental visit. In addition to reading to the kids, we distributed the stockings we had stuffed at out annual holiday party. A few unfortunate members went to work. If you are interested in serving our community, you should get to know Great Bridge Kiwanis. A group of your neighbors, we have proudly served our community for the past twenty six years. To learn more about our work, click on About Us in the menu to the left and then click on Projects.
We meet for breakfast the first through fourth Tuesdays at the Cahoon Plantation Golf Course Restaurant, the Plantation Cafe. Fifth Tuesdays we have a family social event. Join us at 7:30 AM. Your first breakfast is on us.
