Reading Is Fundamental
Young Children Priority One Chair Cindy Bay reads about Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends solving a mystery in the Hundred Acre Woods, one of three books Great Bridge Kiwanians read to the students at the E R Jones HeadStart classroom. Each quarter, we read to these students as well as those at the Willow Grove Headstart classroom. At Christmas we give stockings stuffed with books and toys to the children. We also fund each classroom for two or three field trips during the year.

We meet for breakfast the first through fourth Tuesdays at the Cahoon Plantation Golf Course Restaurant, the Plantation Cafe. Fifth Tuesdays we have a family social event. Join us at 7:30 AM. Your first breakfast is on us.
